Ocular Evidence:

Means eye-witness account of occurrence.

Ocular witness :

Ocular witnesses are witness who had seen the occurrence.

Circumstantial Evidence:

 Means Evidence other than ocular evidence. Example of evidence are ;

a) Recoveries effected from scene of crime .

b) Recoveries effected from accused .

c) Motive for Crime .

d) Last scene evidence.

e) Confessional statement of accused .

f) Absconsion of accused from the crime scene .

Alibi :

 Alobi is a plea of the accused that he wasn't present at the scene of crime.

Recoveries :

Articles recovered by police from scene of crime or from possession of accused .

Crime Empties : 

Means empties of bullets fired from gun used in the crime which was found at scene of crime.

Post-Mortem Exemination :

 Means exemination conducted by doctor in cases of suicidal, homicidal, accidental, or suspicious death.

Post-Mortem Report :

Means report given by doctor after conducting Post-Morterm exemination.

Corroboration :

 Means support given to prosecution which is of partial and interested nature.

Corroborative Evidence : 

Means Evidence which corroborates prosecution evidence of partial and iterest nature.

Last seen evidence :

Means Evidence of witness who had last seen deceased person  in the company of accused.

Track Evidence : 

Means Evidence of foot prints and other marks on scene of crime .

Trackers :

 Means expert in track evidence .

Serologist :

Means expert who on receipt of article from chemical examiner gives opinion whether blood found on recovered articles was infact a human blood.

Forensic Science Leboratory : 

Comprises of fire arms experts who give Openion whether crime empties recovered from scene of crime were infact fired from gun recovered from the Accused .

Arsenic Death : 

Means death by poisoning.

Inquest Report :

 Means Death Report prepared by police officers at scene of crime .

Inquest : 

is inquiry held by Magistrate in Case of sudden and unnatural death 

Disinterment of body : 

Means opening of grave to recover dead - body for determining cause of death in case of sudden and unnatural death .

Hand-writing experts : 

is an expert who gives opinion about genuine of forged nature of handwriting .

Wajtakar witness :

 Means a chance witness found on the scene of Crime .
