1- CrPC is written by Lord M.
2- It is enacted on 22 March 1898 and come into force on force on 01 July 1898.
3- It extend to whole of Pakistan, But It shall not affected
A-Special or Local Law
B-Special Jurisdiction or Power.
4- CrPC is a Procedural and Adjective law, But there are some exception that make it Substantive law to some extent like,
A-Preventive Action of Police
B-Maintenance of Wife & Children
C-Direction of Habeas Corpus
D-Disposal of Property.
5- CrPC is not a Central law and Provincial government can Amend, Modify or Repeal it. (PLD 1964 Lahore 194)
6- There is no Review and Second Appeal in CrPC.
7- CrPC is applicable in Hudood Cases (PLJ 1982 FSC 34), But NOT Applicable before Supreme Court.
